April Update

Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to keep you all updated on the status of everything so far. With the quarantine still in effect, it has made play testing a little harder than we anticipated. So, I have decided to give you all a percentage of completion for everything we are working on.
Adventure writing: 95% (Waiting on playtesting to be completed before finalizing.)
Exterior Art: 100%
Interior Art: 90% (Waiting on two final pieces)
Playtesting: 80%
Layout: 50% (Waiting on writing to be completed before entering in the layout)
Overall, we are still on track for the estimated delivery date! The only thing hindering us is the playtesting which we are doing our best to complete. (My wife and daughters can only handle so much repetitive testing)
I did send out final notices to lock your orders through Backerkit so make sure you do so. We need final counts to order the bags. We are still waiting on one survey to be completed so check your spam folder if you have not completed it as I did resend it this morning.

March Update

Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to let you all know the progress so far over the last 6 weeks or so. We are waiting on the final art pieces so we can send them off for sticker proofing. One of the sticker covers is finished and is on its way here so that is an added bonus for us! We are actively playtesting every scenario with as many different groupings as possible and are almost halfway completed on that end. As for the writing, it is at 90% completed with connections between needing a little more fleshing out before we send off for printing proofs.
With the state of COVID-19 affecting many different industries, including the school system here, there will potentially be a slight decrease in productivity as having two school age children home for the next three weeks will make things a little hectic. So far, we are not expecting any delays in shipping or proof orders so that is a relief!
Hopefully everyone stays safe and healthy.

Survey's Sent

Thank you to those of you who received your smoke test survey and completed it. All survey's have been sent as of a few minutes ago. Please make sure to use all of your pledged amount and pay for shipping costs as it is extremely difficult for us to refund Kickstarter funds that did not include shipping. If you backed the project to receive a product, please fill out your survey to receive that item instead of changing to a lower pledge level and wanting a refund for the majority of your pledge.
Please fill out your surveys as quickly as possible so we can get an accurate count for the bags to be ordered. Don't forget you can also add to the tip jar if you are still having a balance after purchasing your items. We won't mind at all!

Pre-Order Store Active!

Hi Everyone,
Just dropping a quick notification your way to let you know the Pre-Order Store is open! This means any of you who wanted to get a couple extra items or needed to cover your shipping costs should be able to pay for those things now. After a slight issue with the credit card company asking for more documentation, we have since provided them what they needed and we are approved for sales.
If there is anyone who cannot pay for shipping or additional items, please feel free to respond to this email or on Backerkit and let us know so we can assist you or find the next problem (hopefully, there are none!). Once we have a couple more of the smoke test backers complete their survey, we will get the surveys out to the rest of you! So, if you are one of the people who received their survey, please fill it out as quickly as possible. If you are one of those few who have already completed the survey, please make sure you are receiving everything you pledged for and pay for your shipping costs as we cannot refund Kickstarter pledge amounts at this point in time.

Smoke Test and FAQ

First of all, thanks to all of you that have completed your survey. We were able to identify a couple small issues and have since resolved all but one which we will get into later. So far, the smoke test is doing what it is intended to do which is to point out what people are wanting to get and if there are any problems with the survey. This is the first time we have used Backerkit and I must say their customer service is impeccable!
FAQ
For those of you who need to select "Local Pickup", it is located in the 'Country' section of the shipping address. If there are any other issues, Backerkit has a support ticket system that will answer any questions you may have.
Why can't I charge my card for shipping?
There was a section that requires an external credit card charging system to integrate into Backerkit so we can charge cards for shipping. It is currently pending verification and once it completes, you will be able to charge your card for your shipping fees. Obviously, we will wait until this particular issue is resolved before sending out the remaining surveys to ensure the smoothest survey without confusion.
I completed my survey but there is a balance remaining. Can I get a partial refund of my Kickstarter pledge?
Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds on Kickstarter pledge funds. Please make sure to use all pledged funds in any way, including balance for shipping costs. Who knows, you may be able to ship a large order for $1! As a last resort, there is a 'Tip Jar' that can help with smaller balances.
What if I want to change my order after completing my survey?
You are able to make changes to your pledge until I lock the pledge manager around the middle of May. There will be an update approximately two weeks prior to it closing that will be sent out so you can make any last minute changes and verify your shipping address if needed.
